Puppy and Adult Dog Classes at the Bella Behavior Learning Center - Tuscola

Young Puppy Class 2-5 months of age       8:30 - 9:30 am  8 pup limit  $95.00/puppy

Your puppy will learn how to play nice with others, walk on leash, sit, come and socialize to people, dogs, the veterinary clinic and more.  All puppies must have the first vaccination, deworm, and have started heartworm preventative.    Puppies can join any week,  and make up missed classes in the next cycle.  This small size allows individual attention to get your puppy off to a right start with you!

Do not wait!  Puppies are healthy and protected enough after the first vaccination to come to class - waiting causes increased puppy problems.

First Vaccination, 6 foot non retractable leash required.  One person 18 years or older must be present in class - family or friends are welcome to attend too.

Older Puppy class  6-12 months of age    9:30 - 10:30 am  6 pup limit

$125/puppy

Your puppy will learn to focus,  play nice with others, walk on leash, sit, come and socialize to people, dogs, the veterinary clinic and more.  All puppies must have min 2 DHLPP, and Rabies  vaccination, deworm, and have started heartworm preventative.    Puppies can join any week,  and make up missed classes in the next cycle.  This small size allows individual attention to get your puppy off to a right start with you!

Do not wait!  Puppies at this age are blossoming into the problems that become dog problems.  Pheromones and one on one attention will help your timid, bold, or rowdy puppy and you learn quickly.  This class is taught be certified puppy behavior consultants, who understand what your puppy needs to learn to be calm and well mannered.

Adult Dog Class - 1 - 5 years     10:30 - 11:30 am    4 dog limit

If you have just adopted a young adult dog, or your dog needs a brush up on training - this class is for you. The emphasis will be on  focus, calm leash walks , reduce barking, pulling or jumping up.   Dogs who lunge, bark excessively, or pull lunging at other dogs or people must send a video of their dog's behavior to determine if this class is a correct fit.    All dogs  must be up to date on  DHLPP, and Rabies  vaccination, deworm, and  heartworm preventative.   This small size allows individual attention for you and your dog!

Adult dogs can learn or relearn manners.   The positive approach based upon dog behavior will teach you how to set your dog up for success on walks, with visiting dogs and outings.  Calming pheromones and other supplements may be used to help your dog focus and train better.    This class is taught by Dr. Foote and  certified behavior consultants,  who understand what your dog needs to learn to be calm and well mannered.

6 foot non retractable leash required.  No choke or prong collars.  Front clip harness, Gentle Leader or buckle collar advised.  One person 18 years or older must be present in class - family or friends are welcome to attend too.

the course book Perfect Puppy in 7 days by Dr. Sophia Yin  is strongly recommended to purchase at registration to use at home.  This is the best training book for all dogs, especially rescue dogs or those who did not learn well in earlier training classes.
